Introduction

This exhibition is central to the issue of global warming

The Indonesian artists, Joko Dwi Prastowo, Heri Sembodo, Made Malvinas and Sigit Purnomo have translated their vision of reality into an art of abstract thoughts and feelings. Their images convey uncertainty, while Lanang articulates this in showing real events and transmitting the message directly to his community.

On the other hand, Mark Harrison approaches global warming and destruction of nature in an attempt to find consolation - a private conversation with the beauty of nature portrayed through the rice-fields in Ubud
